You know, it's funny all these web sites and commercials I see about making Windows (well, they say; "your PC") faster. And they all target trojans, malware, viruses, that lot. Ambulance chasers run these joints and they exist at all because Windows allows them to by faulty design. Your problem is that you think Windows is the only choice you've got. Nossir. And you don't need a new computer, either.

Here is the fix.

It's a direct download of an OS that spares you from the BS and runs in a manner that we like to call "staying the hell out of my way!". Download it, burn the debian-testing-i386-xfce+lxde-CD-1.iso file to a disc, then come find support before you go using the thing.

Here's your support. Our network is vast, our support is fundamental and comes quickly; but more importantly we can help you break away painlessly - and you get to keep all your data and your computer, too. How cool is that? Listen, I'm not selling a thing here, everything you need is free!

I know, I know - but, honest, it really is free. Look around and find out for yourself.

DISCLAIMER: You can't be a pest about it. It's an OS, it runs your box. It's no different than pointing and clicking in Windows but some terminology differs in significant ways. No worries, simple to pick up - easier than learning to tie your shoes, that's for sure. Moreover, there are some advanced features, like centralized package management, that only now Microsoft, because it chases Linux, is beginning to publicly embrace. lol, in Debian, which set the standard, this has been a feature for years.

Enough is enough. Honestly. Quit feeling like an idiot, you're certainly not one. Why let a piece of plastic make you feel like you are?

Rock on but keep things in perspective, man
