I really like when something works well.  Today I had some issues still lurking in my songbird app, and I just wanted to throw out a thanks to the folks at getdeb.net

I didn't have to work other than a GUI front end to DL the newer upgrade for Songbird from them, and voila, no more issues with Songbird.

I'm still sorting this out a bit on my Debian desktop.  That same got to love it about those deb packages also means if they are not properly resolved, they can't be applied.  (Or at least I don't know how to apply them!)

But I am making headway.  I promised an article on this app, and it will be coming soon.  Right now, i am spending some time rebuilding my Debian desktop to actually be setup correctly.   Running programs from my home directory can be achieved, but it's just not the right thing to do.  SO as I fix it, I further prepare for a super Debian Desktop.  I have an excellent Compiz Cube, some really trick annimation, and once I rebuild a couple of apps, I will focus on Songbird for one and all.
