Well, I gotta tell you, I never had it so good. Thanks to the ease of pulling everything together in Mint, I have itches to scratch in Debian. Hence my fascination for more things, all at once. I used the Synaptics Package Manager in System - Admin and searched for Compiz, and installed the base, and all 0-7.6- (all numbers here 1, 3 and 7 in my repositories) Then, I added the compiz --replace to the startup packages under System - Preferences - Sessions so I always have it after startup.
And here's why... You just hold down Ctrl and Alt, and drag the left clicked mouse. When you release the click, the window refocuses and fills the screen. 4 screens, different areas of control for different apps. truly a workable desktop! I'll add more as I learn to pull this out of the program. ezsurfer
