OK step one - remove your iPod from pocket BEFORE the wash. Luckily, life has taught me a few things over the past years. One has to do with technology. If you make the mistake of getting something inherently electronic wet, then wait. And Wait. Then wait some more, then, and only then, apply power, and hope for the best. Since we have one of those super wham a dyne high efficiency washing machines (my only hope - little water). I gave it 24 hours (After the dry cycle, of course - that was mistake 2, but may have actually supported good.) Either way, iPod turned on today. All is well in Mudville! I was sure the new nano was toast. Now, anyone know where to get an extended warranty, I think I may just need one, after all...  ezsurfer
