Somehow most of us end up here.  Linux.  Eventually, you land in a distribution that just loves your hardware, and as most Linux fans already know, the software really isn't an issue.  Just download that.

I've been reverting, lately.  That means I am tiring of trying to run various Linux distros just to be able to write better articles from the true seat of the pants.  I have been paring my machines back to Linux Mint and Mint alone.  It just makes me smile.  No headaches, just works.  Rock Solid.  Since it's roots are in Debian, it's easy to get anything I need installed or supported.

Best news I've had lately is my cleaned up iPod.  Once I had my iPod iTuned up (run under - I shudder to admit it Windows), then my Songbird is flying perfectly, now.  Likely the last year of Distrohopping and botched Songbird installs improperly reset that iPod.  Now that it was once again "clean", no more issues.  And thanks to Linux, just because I chose to reset my iPod doesn't mean my entire music files on the iPod were deleted (BIG SMILEY HERE!).

Till next time,
