OK - so i have needs.  I needed a new way for more than 1 laptop in my house (visitors) to use the Internet.

All I can say, is Android, and it's "Mobile Hotspot" rocks.  The newest craze of having to pay for data passing through an unlimited data device makes no sense, but hey, as long as hte FCC allows customer abuse, expect it to continue.

But it works!  And may I say, easily works, and works well.  The Windows 7, Windows Vista, Linux Mint (LMDE PC and LM9 and LMDE laptops) all seem to love their new connection.  Every one of them worked right out of the box, like there was some sort of standard or something.  Way to go folks!

And I could have just caught it at the right time, but so far, the connection is fast enough for everything I am doing, and it makes me smile to see everyone able to do basic surfing and email.  And everyone has a choice, any desktop they want.

Choice - goodness

Surf safe,
