Now that Ubuntu's software center app is included in Debian (Squeeze) I wonder what the future of Synaptic is.

I'm an aptitude man so it doesn't really matter to me but I think something like this does matter to other (potential?) Debian users. Aptitude is a fine app, no doubt, but it's not so pretty. People are really big on pretty. I haven't played with software center at all so I can't comment on any merits it may have that synaptic doesn't, or vice-versa, but I am curious. Software center definitely is prettier than synaptic.

Anyone want to elaborate at all for the benefit of our visitors?
