They're shooting for the first week in February. Didn't Lenny come out on Valentine's day in February of ought-nine?

And speaking of GNU/Linux distributions...I'm running PCLinuxOS right now as a live disc on my laptop because my hard drive went belly-up the other day. It's the Openbox version (of course) and it didn't take too much effort to have it behave as my own desktop install (Squeeze/openbox). I stripped a ton of crap out of the live install that I don't normally use, added some things I do and I'm digging it.

Not nearly enough to ditch Debian, because that system just fits the way I do things, but if your hard drive craps out on you and you don't have another one lying around you could do a lot worse than running PCLinuxOS while you get your system back together.

It looks like I can't ignore this site anymore and I'm going to have to get busy with all manner of new tutorials for Squeeze. But, it's just so damned easy I wonder if writing tutorials for it is necessary anymore. Bah...I dunno. On the one hand this is a site that's supposed to help people move from AHEM! Windows to something righteous and on the other hand more GNU/Linux users visit the site than Windows users. So I guess I failed at the original intent.

Whatever. The day's not over. I'll fail at something else, too. Anyway - Squeeze approaches....hooray!
